Garantio is a free mobile app (iOS and Android) that gathers and manages the warranties on everything you buy. You scan a receipt, the app pulls the details out of it with AI, works out how long the warranty lasts, reminds you before it expires and helps you enforce your rights if the product fails.

By default Garantio applies the French legal warranty of conformity, which runs for 2 years from delivery of the goods (article L.217-3 of the French Consumer Code). If your receipt or invoice mentions a longer commercial warranty — a 5-year manufacturer warranty, for instance — the app detects it and adds it automatically.

Yes. You photograph the receipt and text recognition runs directly on your phone. Only the extracted text is then structured to obtain the product name, brand, store, price and purchase date. You can check and correct every field before saving.

Yes. Garantio is entirely free and unlimited: unlimited products, unlimited formal notice letters, household sharing and export of all your proofs of purchase are included, with no subscription and no credit card. The app may display advertising space.

A formal notice (mise en demeure) is a letter that formally requires the seller to repair, replace or refund a faulty product under the legal warranty. Garantio generates it as a PDF, pre-filled with your purchase details and grounded in articles L.217-3 and following of the French Consumer Code. All you have to do is print it, sign it and send it.

Yes. Your proofs of purchase are stored securely and access is restricted to the members of your household. Under the GDPR you can export all of your data at any time and delete your account permanently.

Yes. Garantio is built around the household: you create one, invite the people you live with using a code, and every member can add products. All of the household warranties are visible to its members. Multi-member sharing is included for free, with no cap on members.

Garantio is available on iOS (iPhone) and Android. The app also works offline: your product list stays readable without a connection and syncs automatically as soon as you are back online.
